Why our students have chosen us?
Combining the traditions and setting of the finest Swiss and American education systems, AUS has committed to becoming a world-class institution of applied sciences in business.
Our community is compromised of students from over 50 nationalities. Students at AUS will have the opportunity to gain valuable insights into different cultures, perspectives, and work experiences.
Through their practice-oriented studies based on the application of scientific methods and application-oriented research and development, AUS graduates will be prepared to become competent business professionals in their communities, across the nation, and around the world.
The American Institute of Applied Sciences in Switzerland (AUS) is committed to offering a distinctive specialization in Aviation Management as part of its MIBA program to prepare future managers for the aviation industry, as an official IATA-authorized training center.
Program Structure
The program is based on the AUS MIBA curriculum combined with several courses in Aviation and Airport Management along with Safety, Security, and Legal issues. The curriculum links cutting-edge business theory to practical research and applications as students are guided to solve real-world challenges in the aviation industry.
Industry Visits
The program offers interesting tours, for example, at airports, hangers, cargo centers, IATA headquarters, air traffic control centers, and many others.
Industrial visits provide an educational platform for students and assist in bridging the gap between AUS courses and the real-life working environment of Aviation professionals. They are also excellent opportunities for students to start building professional networks.
Meeting Aviation Experts
Aviation courses at AUS are taught by professionals with up-to-date knowledge and extensive networks in the field. This enables them to enrich the classes by inviting industry experts to campus as "Guest Lecturers" to share their first-hand insights and experiences.
